Wednesday 14th July
The Wednesday competition was an Individual Stableford with 30 players in the field and 7 players in the competition. The Jackpot holes 9, 10 and 12 was won by Ryno Martyn on 8 points. Hidden Birdie was also won by Ryno on the 10th hole. Closest to the pin on the 18th was Al Overton. Honest John was won by Kobus van Zyl, predicting 21 points. The winner of the competition was Ryno Martyn with a score of 21 points, in second place was Jimmy Terblanche with 19 points and followed in third place with 13points, was Marie Terblanche.
Friday 16th July
Friday’s competition was Medal / Meat Competition sponsored by the RBCC. There were 44 players in the field and only 6 in the competition. The Friday meat requires 20 players in the competition to cover costs of the meat purchase, otherwise a credit to your account will be the way forward. Honest John was not won. Hidden Birdie was not won. Hendrik Nel won Nearest to the Pin on hole no 8. Ettienne Jonck won the competition with a score of 32 Nett. Siyabonga Mkhize won second place with a score of 33 Nett. Third place went to Nicole Gillespie with a score of 33 Nett
Saturday 17th July
Saturday’s Competition was a Combined Stab sponsored by the RBCC. There were 82 players in the field and 60 in the competition. Honest John was won by Terry Howarth on 69 points. Jacques Beukes and Terry Howarth won the Jackpot Holes on 2, 4, 6, 9 and 15 with 23 points. Doug Morris and Steve Rivett won the Hidden Birdie on the 11th. Nearest to the Pin was won by Hannes Uys on the 8th. The Competition Winners were as follows: 1st place went to Jimmy and Marie Terblanche on 72 points. 2nd place went to Anthony Brown and Piet Swanepoel on 71 points. 3rd place went to Kobus Van Zyl and Al Overton on 71 points. 4th place went to Terry Howarth and Jacques Beukes on 69 points

31-5.Wrong Ball
|

If a competitor is in breach of Rule 15-3b for making a stroke at a wrong
ball, he incurs a penalty of two strokes and must correct his mistake by
playing the correct ball or by proceeding under the Rules. His partner
incurs no penalty, even if the wrong ball belongs to him. If the wrong ball belongs to another competitor, its owner must place a
ball on the spot from which the wrong ball was first played.

U12 Team Championships - 2010
It gives me great pleasure to confirm that ETIENNE JONCK has been selected to represent Natal U12 division at the 2010 Nomads SA U12 Team Championships to be played at Clovelly Country Club from 26 September to 29 September 2010. WELL DONE Ettienne – the RBCC is very proud of your achievement.
